The main Port of the Turkish Aegean cost is Bodrum.
In the old days Bodrum was called Halikarnassos, and it was here it all began with the beautiful wooden boats sailing out for a weekly blue cruise with happy and exited guests on board. The traditional Turkish gulet has been built on local warfs along the coast for centuries. The original boats were sailing gulets shipping cargo or working as open sea fishing boats. It was in Bodrum, former Halikarnassos, the the turkish gulet toke fame as a vessel for leissure purpose.
Coastal towns and Cities of the Turkish Aegean, besides Bodrum, are Kusadasi, Cesme, Izmir – just to mentioned the most reknown. Blue cruises and boat charters can be arranged with embarkation from all of these harbours.
