Services and Facilities onboard MS Topkapi 3
MS Topkapi 3 is a 24 meter long ketch build wooden sailshhip, build on local wharf in Bozburun near Marmaris on the Turkish southwest coast in 1985, and refurnished in 2009.
We have capacity for 12 guests, and operate the ship with a crew of 3 or 4.
Under deck we have 6 double cabins with private shower/wc. 4 cabins in the front and 2 larger cabins in the aft. The wheelhouse contains cockpit, salon and ships bar. On deck facilities consist of a sitting group on the front deck as well as sunbeds, and dining table on the aft deck. Additionally we have sunbeds on the wheelhouse roof with a magnificiant view.
Meals on board
On a weeks charter / Blue Cruise all daily meals are included in the price, as well as afternoon tea with cake or bisquits.
Breakfast is served with coffee and tea, and consists of bread and butter, mild chease and white chease, two or three different jams, olives, tomato, cucumber and a variety during the week of eggdishes.
Lunch is a selection of lovely food from the turkish kitchen with lots of fresh vegetables, sometimes with chicken or veal, and always with a fresh green salad from seasonal vegetabels.
Dinner includes a selection of different meze during the week, some of the best from turkish homecocking with lamb, chicken, veal and fish. For variation minimum one night with meat or fish barbeque. In addition dishes are served with either rice, pasta or patatoes.
Desserts are most of the time seasonal fresh fruit and occasionaly sweet cakes or pudding.
Cabins and other facilities
We have capaticy for maximum 12 guests, staying in 6 double bed cabins with private shower/wc. In the front of the ship there are 4 standard size cabins, all resently renovated in the winter of 2009. In the aft section we have 2 larger double cabins which are suitable for parents travelling with small children.
All cabins come with bed dressings, blankets and plaids, and one set of towels for each guest. Our guests are welcome to use the provided blankets and pillows for sleeping on deck directly under the stars. We recomend lugage to be brought in smaller softbags, and that our guests bring beach towels for usage on the deck.
Drinks, water and other beveradges are not included in the price, and are to be purchased from the ships bar. We have a wide selection af local and international drinks and wines onboard, as well as softdrinks, bottled water, beer, coffee, capuccino and smoothies among others.
